Story Title: Oldies but Goodies
By: Linnea Verplank
I am so sorry to hear this news, but my fondest memories of Danny where back in the 80’s. I will always remember Danny singing to every 50’s song ever made..He knew every word and loved them so much. If I recall he had every album, also.
My sincere sympathy to Audrey and all his family…Linnea Verplank

My memories of Danny are many, Capri in particular..Danny loved to sing the Oldies but Goodies and knew every word and I’m sure he had every album…He had amazing memory for all the best stories, too.
My visit with you and Danny last year was so much fun talking about the wonderful times we all had oh so long ago…
Sue Muse says
My condolences to the family for Danny’s passing. I know this must be such a shock and heartbreak. It is always sad when we loose someone that is older, Danny was still considered a relatively young person in my eyes.
I knew Danny when I was a mere young girl of about 13 years old at Longacre Park and swimming. After that, we passed occasionally in High School.
My sincere wishes strength for the family in this time of loss.

Danny and I went to Tech High School at the same time—it was a huge school and we were just acquaintances. After graduation I almost never ran into anyone from the place, but every ten years or so I’d run into Danny. We always recognized each other, remembered each other’s name, and had a warm, brief conversation. You just couldn’t hope to bump into a nicer guy. I was sad to read about his passing—and am genuinely sorry for your loss.
